I've spent twenty years helping organisations change. Different ones. Large and established, smaller and growing, regional and global.

Royal Mail, Ogilvy, Vodafone, YouGov, Sky, Amex, William Hill, Betfair, NBC Universal, across media, broadcast, gaming, financial services, investor-backed technology, oil and gas and NGO.

The level I work at is consistent, with the people who hold strategic accountability for change, who own the budget, who need it to actually happen. But I stay close enough to the action to know when the plan needs to change.

What's consistent across all of it is this: I work at the point where business design and people have to meet. I can go high, strategic clarity, operating model, direction. And I can go low, gathering people, driving delivery, making it stick. Most organisations need both. Few people can hold both.

I started Think Shifted because the work I kept being asked to do deserved more than an interim label.
